The owner, Robin Mar, is passionate about helping people make their homes work better for daily living. She believes that changes in the home can transform lives creating spaces that nurture the family culture of love and life. Fixing problems and finding solutions is a way to communicate value – worth to the people living in the house and significance to the places themselves.
Robin majored in Art Studio at the University of California Davis and applies this creative training to the work of Transformation Home Repair. Her skills as a craftsman and diligence as a worker are assets to the work she performs. As a single mother, she understands the need women have to feel comfortable with workmen coming into the home. She believes she provides a needed female presence in the male dominated work force of handymen.
She also believes in giving back to the community so a portion of the profits of Transformation Home Repair go to the support of homes for orphans through Children of the Nations (cotni.org).
